Het management van de afdeling Humane Genetica wordt gevormd door de hoofden van de verschillende secties, aangevuld met de manager bedrijfsvoering en de bestuursecretaresse.

Prof. Dr. Marcel Mannens

Afdelingshoofd a.i. per 1 januari 2023. Professor Mannens heeft een lange staat van dienst als hoofd van het laboratorium voor Genoomanalyse binnen Amsterdam UMC. Hij ging op 13 september 2022 officieel met emeritaat, maar werd gevraagd de afdeling Humane Genetica nog voor een korte periode te leiden. Naast zijn rol als afdelingshoofd begeleidt hij nog diverse promovendi.
